Santa’s Village

When:  Weekends starting Dec. 2 – Dec. 17

Where:  411 W. Arapaho Rd. (North side of City Hall)

Price:  Free

Visitors near and far can attend for Christmas spirit with 16 cottage attractions for families to enjoy. Live performances and hot chocolate are extra bonuses when entering the village.

 

Prairie Lights

When:  Thanksgiving night – New Year’s Day

Where:  Lynn Creek Park

Price:  Tickets start at $35 per car

Two miles decorated with over four million lights is a sight visitors can see along with the Holiday Village. Passengers can walk around for photos, enter the Light Maze, enjoy concessions, and see the Walk-Thru Forest.

 

Gaylord Texan Resort: ICE! Twas the Night Before Christmas

When:  Nov. 10 – Jan. 1, 2018

Where:  Gaylord Texan Resort

Price:  Tickets start at $21.99

A cold walk through an exhibition of 40 hand carved ice sculptures that total to around two million pounds showcase this holiday classic story. This is a winter wonderland excursion that will feel quite literally like Christmas.

 

Dallas Museum of Art: All the Eternal Love I Have for Pumpkins

When:  Oct. 1 – Feb. 25, 2018

Where:  Dallas Museum of Art

Price:   $12 – $16

Yayoi Kusama presents his exhibit in the form of a mirror room where visitors can view acrylic pumpkins that seem to span on forever.

 

Holiday Wonder at Fair Park

When: Nov. 21 – Jan. 7, 2018

Where:  Fair Park

Price:  $20

Fair Park presents a winter wonderland that people of all ages can enjoy by walking around the park and seeing two million lights presented in eye-opening displays. Open daily for visitors to enjoy music, an acrobatic show and preview the Chinese lanterns.

 

Dua Lipa Concert

When:  Feb. 2, 2018

Where:  South Side Ballroom

Price:  Tickets start at $25
